Sports fans will have a ball discovering all that Viera has to offer. Catch a ball game at the Space Coast Stadium, where the Brevard County Manatees call home. And don’t forget to stop by the concession for some snacks to eat while you enjoy a classic American pastime. The area is also home to the Ritch Grissom Memorial Wetlands, frequented yearly by thousands of nature-lovers, bird enthusiasts, eco-tourists, and photographers. The wildlife you’ll observe here will amaze you.
Viera passionately promotes healthy living-- you’ll find several parks and trails to utilize for bicycling, jogging, rollerblading, and so on. Athletes can take advantage of Viera’s enormous regional park. Spanning125-acres, the regional park is comprised of five baseball fields, two softball fields, eight soccer fields, an 18,000 sq. ft community center/gymnasium, two outdoor basketball courts, three playgrounds, and four tennis courts. There is so much to do here. For the golfers, the Duran Golf Club and Viera East Golf Course offer beautiful and skill-testing courses.
