Pick up some snacks at the concession stand and enjoy a classic American pastime. Fun Fact: The Washington Nationals train at the Space Coast Stadium in the spring. The area is also home to the Ritch Grissom Memorial Wetlands, which is highly visited by nature-lovers, bird enthusiasts, eco-tourists, and photographers every year. The wildlife you’ll observe will amaze you. It truly is a sight. There’s also the Merritt Island National Wildlife Refuge and Brevard Zoo.

The city of Viera passionately promotes healthy living-- you’ll find several parks and trails to utilize for bicycling, jogging, rollerblading, and so on. Athletes can take advantage of Viera’s enormous regional park. Spanning125-acres, the regional park is comprised of five baseball fields, two softball fields, eight soccer fields, an 18,000 sq. ft community center/gymnasium, two outdoor basketball courts, three playgrounds, and four tennis courts. There is so much to do here. For the golfers, the Duran Golf Club and Viera East Golf Course offer beautiful and skill-testing courses.
